Well, first of all, thank you for the overwhelming quick response. I am enjoying my time in Fredian. And I’ll also be the first to say than I know NOTHING about coding, scripting, or administering a server. That said, I had always believed that the emotes wands were a pretty stable item. Any errors that might occur, only necessitate restarting the emote options and it never involves losing xp, gold, or any thing valuable. I ended up using the skills and abilities rolls all the time. It was much more entertaining to watch a knight try to grab a thief using a dex roll and if successful (the thief gets his roll too) then uses his strength roll to keep a hold of him as he is carted down to jail. Just using straight dice does not take advantage of the characters strengths and weakness. When a mage and fighter have an equal chance at discovering something that requires intelligence with a d20,…. (shakes head) But I’m not here to start a one person revolt. I just wanted to get the idea out to see the response (albeit, it went a little of topic the first time, but I understand). If anyone wants to get in contact with another server administrator, perhaps to ask about their experience with their emote wants, I can provide some contact information. Until then, I’ll start stocking up the snowballs and hope to make other characters use their dex roll. <grins> ;D

The existing systems were made purposefully, all things related to knights for example, are as they should be, and always will be, it was voted on extensively how law would be done, and the reasons behind checks, which incidentily also have allowances in the code for other things, will remain, if anything knights will be made beefier in use of anything needed to stop what has been seen as griefing by certain players of their position. Other rolls can, and will be done by joint decision within existing emote rolls.
Thanks,
Makz.
