Who will win in AVP? (Alien Vs Predator)

Just a general question if you think Alien or Predator will win.. i'm curious to see what people vote.. i personally think Predator will win but thats just me lol..

Not a fan of this as a movie concept at all, but I like the critters, so Ill chime in.

This seems simple to me - a bony little human woman could take out boatloads of aliens with any kind of projectile weapons she could get her hands on. Subsequently a big ugly humanoid with projectile weapons should wax them just as easily - especially one with concealing armor. Most of predetors advantages were in his equpment, though he did wear a bigger frame than humans.

Sans equipment, Alien I think would take predetor every time. Both are pretty large, pretty strong, pretty smart, and have hunter disposition (vs thinking like prey), so Exoskeleton natural armor vs endoskeleton fleshy types makes for an easy descision for me.

I think this is more of a question of Quantity vs. Quality. Remember the "Alien" becomes "Aliens" by design. So one on one it is the quality of Predator, but couple of bellies ripping open and Quantity should prevail. So as the question is stated Alien vs Predator. I say Predator rips it up.

You put them in new york where Aliens can freely multiply and the whole ship of Predators are toast.

Ha, an easy one: Predator wins of course. Why? Alien got his ass kicked (a couple of times even!) by a woman, while Predator could only be defeated by no one else but Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.
So... I'll put my money on Predator.

Lets.. see predator has.. ranged weapons Stealth And killer instincts.. Alien has face huggers and can hear and smell things easily.. and can do some vicious stuff but needs to be up close to do it.. so.. i think i explained why i think predator will win.. pretty much..

Watch "Alien" closely. It was a Predator warning beacon that drew Ripley and Co. into that mess in the first place.
The bugs won round one. I think they have a fair shot at round two.

(And I am pretending that this has nothing to do with the novella or the graphic novels, which according to the studio the new movie doesn't either.)

Defintely Preditor, Preditor is both good in melee and ranged combat. Alien is pretty darn nasty close up, quick, and has some nasty breath but Preditor kicks some major @$$ beause he hs the equipment. It is hard to see him, alien can't smell, and has laser guns all over his body which only aginst min characters does not kill in one shot. Also lien is destroyed by regular everyday people, preditor was killed by marine commander (the seond one they were not killed). The only problem I see preditor having is it's sportsmanship. It will not kill if the enemy has no weapons, Alien has none. Preditor is also smarter, Alien is just about a mindless killing machine, while preditor is a skilled hunter. I really enjoyed the Movie Preditor but after the first two of alien it got pretty boring.

My vote is for preditor and they're kick @$$ weapons and skill in killing.

The thing with this movie is that there will be no victor like in Freddy vs. Jason. Freddy should have one but didn't beause of the girl, Preditor should win but is not becuse of some outside interference. Nobody will win but preditor is going to be the obvious victor to any alien fan.

P.S. Yet again keyboard is not working so there might be some missing A's or C's.

Ehh... well... a Preditor warning beacon in Aliens... but an Alien skull appears in Preditor 2... so I dunno. I vote for a draw.

And who said no one kills a Preditor in the second film? If you ask me, I cearly remember that kick@$$ disc thing killing one of them!
So yeah, I think humans will win ... as the movies poster titles suggests "Whoever wins. We Lose" *chuckles* then there will probably be some patriotic human-race unifing theme and everyone will live happily ever after... or will we?

Predator will win cause he has this reddish vision which i saw while playing the game and what it does is it makes aliens really bright and shiny and visible and perfect targets for his giant laser beams!

Predator is more kick ass, and could win, if they wanted to. Remember, predators hunt aliens as SPORT. Sure it's a dangerous one, but the general idea is some people come back from the 'hunting trip' or they would stop going...

Now, predators, being hunters, want to give their prey a chance. But even in a worse case scenario, they have that little nuclear weapon on their arm...

Then there is numbers, in the trailer, there is that pyramid COVERED in aliens and a couple of predators at the top.

Should be a good movie.

Right.... did you happen to notice that the scene you mentioned in the latter paragraph ends up at the use of the device mentioned in the former? ^_^
