Has to be appraise. It has 0 relevance in Fredian. The only vendor that appraise works on is the slave trader, tehehe. Diplomacy, persuade, bluff can be used in RP -if- you have a willing participant. Everything else is usefull to a degree.

I'm with every body on appraise Intimidate should come off the list IMHO due to it is required for some really good epic barbarian feats. I personally use Thundering Rage for E.C. and you need, i think 25 intimidate ranks.

Appraise is not present on Fredian, because of a bioware bug that causes a wrap around with certain PC's that have LOW levels of CHA I think it is, resulting in players being able to sell items for more than what they sell for from stores.
Makz.

Hmm, always wondered why it was missing, seems like something you would have in place, now I know.

LOL...I discounted appraise and went for my second favorite answer...parry...parry mode is too unwieldy to be useful.

Hey now I was accualy going to make a PC build based solely on Parry.... only becuase it is much easier to get .. "+10 to parry" then it is to get "+10 to ab"... to bad there isen't a rapier with like +20 to parry.. then he would accualy be a feasable build... and he would be the traditional duelist also... hey makz.... what would it take to get "+20 to parry" added onto the "Swift" rapier... as to make it a fiasble skill for dex based fighters to accualy use..

I voted for Appraise, because it does absolutely nothing on Fredian. But in general I'd say it's parry. That skill is not working the way it is supposed to work. It will only stop 3 attacks each round, while giving up all your attacks. Getting a high AC is way more effective.

in my opinion parry should be used more because it blocks the same number of attacks that you have 5 (6 with haste) its incredibly good you could easily defeat Mackenzie or any of the other Melee chars if used correctly.

You can only block as many as you can give out

<edit>To a maximum of 3 attacks... </edit>
Sadly parry doesn't work that way in NWN. It doesn't matter how many attacks you have, you cannot parry more then 3 attacks each round. NWN groups all attacks in flurries. As soon as you have 3 attacks, there will be 3 flurries. Every extra attack will be evenly added to one of these 3 flurries. Parry will only handle the first attack of each flurry. Sad but that's the way it is. It will cost you all your attacks to block three of them...
