Hey everybody!
I haven't abandoned Fredian. My home computer went ka-boom recently, and I haven't had computer access until I got back to work today (I've been on vacation).
So, when will said computer be fixed, you ask?
I dunno. I think the OS gave up the ghost, and as I have no $$ right now for a new one (no more "borrowed" software for me, thank you very much!) it could be a while. If it's something other than the OS, well, I really don't want to think about that...
I miss Fredian, so shed a tear or two for me and my Fredian-less existence.

Update Time!
I finally got Mr. Computer back to functioning (reinstalling drivers sucks utterly though!)
But I have a brand-spankin'-new problem. Whilst reinstalling NWN, I found that I am lacking the cdkey for my Shadows of Undrentide expansion (it says its on the inside cover of the manual - a big lie!)
So now I have to contact those fine folks at Bioware to try to get my cdkey (the original packaging for Shadows being long gone).
Sigh, my life is a *trial* sometimes.

One of the releases of SoU had a red piece of paper with it, that had the CD key on it.. very lame.

Do you still have access to the data on your old drive or was it wiped in the process? If it wasnt, yourCD Keys are stored in a file in the NWN program directoy. I dont recall the file name off the top of my head, but you could do a text search for part of your other CD-Keys to find the file in question.

Hey Lady, Also if you registered on the bioware website (which you had to) they save that info for you. Its your login and password you use to get onto gamespy. I know that this is available. And not but a second to try. edit: just checked, www.bioware.comNWN page login (it is your game ID and password you already use) My account Then it will say (near the bottom your CD Key has been registered.) Not sure after that but you'll have access somehow I am sure

Thanks for the advice Serpitus, I saw where my CD Keys were registered, but not retrievable, in fact, I accidentally deleted my Hordes key! Thank goodness I still have that one in the manual!
Oy!
Anyway, I wrote a pleading email to Bioware, maybe they will take pity on me. (I told them my tale of computer-related woe) and send me the key!
Again, thanks everbody for all of you help!

Update the last! Well it seems I am SOL with the Shadows of Undrentide CDKey. I also have an FYI for all of you who think their CDKeys are safe and sound on in your Bioware account profile, described by Serpitus -if you (like me) entered your keys *before* the option to make them retrievable was made implemented, you cannot get them back. So if you put those keys in a long, long time ago, go back, delete and re-enter them with the little check box checked! So until I buy the replacement for Shadows, I won't be on Fredian. Double

*grumble grumble grumble*
Bioware is being that crummy about this? you shold see if they will send you a valid one if you send in your front cover of your book to them (with the bogus CD-Key in it). Its not like you cant prove that you dont own the product, and there is no reason you should have to repurchase...
