ODBC back in play.

Hi all,

well after initially proving nothing was wrong, via Toon testing quests, more and more players were having various problems, and also knights lasso's would not respond. All came down to the module for NWNX that Jeroen sent me, it seems to not quite get all the data it needs for each table entry. I have gone back to the ODBC driver again. And will stick with that now until such time as we can get a thorough test of Jeroen's module/plug in.

In the continuation of this, Jeroen has again looked at his code for me, and sent me a new version. Please can players log onto the test server and try quests for me at the very least, also knights, if a player can go with you and you can test the lasso. Reminder test server is on 68.7.198.102:5122 <-- note the port difference. Player password is trolley.

I'll check after I get back from golf.

Thank you to those that came on the test server and were my guinea pigs , jail lasso now works with Jereons ODBC replacement, but, quests are not working correctly I get to talk to an NPC after relogging, per the experience that some players had been having. I will advise Jeroen of this, and send him logs etc. This will be resolved, and when it does, the whole community of servers that use MySQL and NWNX will benefit. As will you all of course with more access to things.
