Darn mouth... I would love to do a voice over for the part of Merrick Wend in behind that text.. and maybe something else as well... grrrr... but VERY impressive!! I would love to get that up on NWVault when more complete... *bows* in awe.

Okay, since I threw this thing together last time in a few hours I sort of want to re-do it.
Any suggestions?
(regarding: camera movement, speed, atmospherics, lighting, intro text, and music)
And no, I will not be adding castles and boats and crazy cut scenes... I am a very limited 3D guy. All I know is the basics (sorry).
But other than that, how do you guys (and gals) invision the island looking?
Lets see some sketches! ;D (it can be finger painting for all I care)

Camera speed is good. What about lightning strikes or somthing near the end? The first 1/3 is text only, how about adding a still image of the isle in the backround as a static image until the movement starts? Don't the ...s belong inside the quotes? "...when I was a lad south of the island, we played under different stars..." The light source seems to always be in the backround, so the shadows always point towards you (picky I know, but you asked). What about a 'real' light source, a sun in the backround? That being said, I'd like to refer to my original comments. |

Hey I loved it. But you asked.
Could it reflect the Fredian creation story a litle better. Maybe start out connected to a whole continent and then rip off in some way in the spin finally standing alone in an unknown sea "under different stars. Darkness surrounding the main pont of interest (the middle of the island I guess) where Clevian is now shrouded in darkness. Maybe a planar weave effect wrapping over it to show the barrier the Warped get caught in and spit back out all nasty. Part of the island should show a great desert because we all know that its not all forest on fredian. OK once again I loved it but you asked.
