Posting a screenshot...?

Ok, how exactly do you get images to appear on the forums? I'm not entirely clear there (though taking the screenshots is, of course, very simple).

We host them on our sites.

Yep, you need to get some webspace out there and copy your image to it. Then you link to it from here.

I personally use www.web1000.com but there are plenty others out there.

You lost me on that one ... just what did you see that made you come to that conclusion? It looks like a pretty normal webhosting site to me.

edit -Ahhh perhaps you refer to the big red text at the bottom. FYI it said nothing about gays at all. That was about hosting Child Porn which they expressly forbid (and admit that they have inadvetantly been a host to quite a few. I actually think its very responsable to post that).

I probably would have abused it anyway if I could post pics. For example, I was thinking of posting a screenshots from UT2K4 of a futuristic cityscape with the caption, "Trent then realized just how long he had been gone from Castille City."

Yeah, beats me bout the gay thing too. Frankly I really dont care much even if they do because:

1. I'm not particularly homophobic (just enough to need to say Im straight here, though
2. They put no adds on any site they host for you (BIG plus over alot of others)
3. In the 2 years I've had a site there have I never gotten any mail from them good bad or otherwise


The down side to photobucket as I see it as I saw nothing on their site indicating they actualkly do webhosting, just photo repository. So if you decide down the roasd that you want to put up a web site (instead of just pix) you will need to start looking for another host again. No big deal. Theres a million out there, find one you like
