Next Tuesday! December 23rd. 6:30pm PST.
A wizard and slave-owner in styne harbor has a bit of a problem... maybe some adventurers can help him out.
I'm capping the event at 6 people, but players level 7 and under get in free (they are not counted towards the cap).
You can RSVP (send me a private message through the proboards) but if you're not there when the event starts, you lose it, even if you login 30 seconds after it started. I added an extra half-hour to my usual event time of 6:00 so people can be on time easier.

The event ran. Good roleplaying by all. Got off on a few interesting tangents, but it demonstrated some very neat ideas about "arresting" people (winks at Frost and his guards) Overall, here is the path our courageous players took: 1. Betrayed their promise to the svirfneblin wizard to destroy all the bandits. They set out to free the slave instead. 2. Made an alliance with the bandit leader to free the slave. 3. The adventurers killed the wizard from #1. 4. The bandit leader lied and killed the slave. 5. The bandit leader got away amid the confusion. Maybe it is not an ideal ending, but it is an ending. The players effected the world around them and did manage to put out an evil wizard, even if they did end up fumbling the heroic rescue The roleplaying was good and the way the encounters were dealt with had some finesse, something I have to give great credit for. All players were of course rewarded for participating (all endings had the same reward on this one). Overall alignment for the parties' choices: Chaotic Good (if you wanted to free the slave). Chaotic Neutral & Evil (if you wanted to interrogate the slave for his knowledge). Most of the player's words reflected CG. Cheers!
