I am haveing some trouble with the forums. Everytime I go into a new page on the forums nothing shows up and I must either
(A) Refresh
(B) Go Back and Foward
After that everything shows up but I miss stuff like the background, Reply, Post New thread, the book symbols and varyous other non important stuff. I am curious if it is just me or other people have this problem. I am only having this problem on the forums though, no other website.
It is not a big problem, just a nuiscence.

Aye, its been tweeked for a few weeks now.  hehehe, ever since Silentus left  I tend to lose images and things come up blank (or just solid colors)... not to mention the lag because of it. At least we'll have new forums sometime in the future ;D -Lumix |

I am currently doing battle with yahoo. After discovering my ISP has blocked port 80 and 25 ALL of my plans of world domination went out the window... j/k... but, website and forums will be remaining the same, once I get back my hosted access on yahoo... who are promising to sort it out as quickly as possible for me.

Cool, now it isn't a nuiscence to get to reply and post! Thanks! I guess the font enlargement is a problem on my end though, guess I will have to look into that... Edit- That was an easy fix it took me what thirty seconds to find and fix the problem  |

makz, I do not think it's Y!, castille.us is resolving and I can get to the pages there np, what the problem is and it's with proboards itself I think.... is the darn banner ad's... the forums work fine for me, but I am always unable to get the responses back from banners.4d5.net pagead2.googlesyndication.com which I think... depending on how the HTML is written exactly, (If we have any HTML guru's out there. please correct me if I am wrong) is causing the top banner to never load (along with anything else that comes *after* the links to those 2 sites). the browser just sits and spins waiting for a response from either of these two sites... it *should* continue to load the page after either of these two sites timeout in their response. a standard "timeout" is usually three minutes.. so if two sites that are linked to by the forums timeout, that's a 6 minute wait to get the rest of the page loaded. (an eternity) now this could be just me (maybe the banner is trying to load software, and my linux os wont allow it, but I usually get a pop up saying "We're sorry. your browser is not WIN32 compatable" (those are pop-ups I like  ) and I am not getting anything like that. ) it just says "transferring data from X" and sits there... |
