This is very bad for the business. Competition is good, it keeps us all sharp. Even a few freebies for friends and relatives I can live with. But giving all away for nothing is killing the trade. I cannot allow this.
I will give you some time to reconsider. And I'm sure you will do the right thing and keep the trade alive.....

Come see Anoushka then.... All weapons, jewelry and armor (including Truth, excluding AoC) can be ordered. (You can also order by mail in the West Styne Inn // ID=107).

Karra, find Sirrus and I'm sure some protection of your industry can be arranged. I have many... many... contacts.

Hear Hear Karra Down with the tyrany of order. Make all those that strangle us with the bindings of supply and demand cower. Break the system. EC Warmore supports your efforts. If you need reagents find me they are yours.

Yeah, what's the point of trying to play a merchant if everyone gives stuff away for free? But anyway, Anoushka will not give up so easily. If trading and selling in a honest way is no longer possible, Anoushka will have to find other, possibly darker ways to make a living. (She will not sell to shopkeepers to generate infinite amounts of money). And here Anoushka was thinking about actually hiring a muscle from Sirrus, only to find out he's chosen a side already. I mean, how is Karra gonna pay you if she's giving all away for nothing? Yeah, I know. Supplying stores with unlimited supplies of a single item will give you a lot of money. If only selling crafted items to shopkeepers could be nerfed a bit. It's so easy to generate a million gold in a matter of a few minutes, money has almost no meaning. But believe me, Anoushka makes enough money trading and selling to pc's. There is no need to sell stuff to shopkeepers. But this rant doesn't belong here. I'll make a post in the suggestions and comments area.

my point is i WILL buy if you are available.... but hey i'm walking around with straight stock gear on my latest character since you can't find merchants.... i might try you mail order but i prefer face to face meetings where we can disscuss things (i don't have the whole crafting system dissected so...)...

Yous sell how yous wanna sell, me still chargin pelts fer everythings... Yous hurtin uses who need to make profit to get better at udder stuff doh. ooc: Hope your on at a different time from me - learning to tailor takes literally ~5000 pelts to master maybe more. Thats one of the reason Vugor crafts so many items for others - so I can spend more time tailoring than hunting. I agree that giving stuff away is a terrible business practice and not often found in 'nature'. You dont use Linux by chance do you... Spathic, Ill happily outfit you for the price, but yeah, Im on usualy 11p - 1a CST .

My main crafting character, Phoenix, can and does trade items for gold/reagents. I will be playing as him a little more, so if you need weapons or jewlery let me know. Even if I'm on as another character feel free to send me a tell, I'll go get Phoenix for a transaction.
I hear everyone complain about tailoring so much, I guess that's my next craft. *ugh*
As far as giving items away, the practice leaves a bad tast in my mouth for those that do craft. It takes a lot of time to gets those skills up, and handing away eq. ruins it for those who RP crafers.

Ec Warmore I urge you not to give away free ingredients you will ruin my buisness. Gold is one thing ingredients are another. But how an ever you will soon realise how hard it is to get real ingredients and if you have any sence won't go to all that effort for nothing

Just for all of your information, if you want to solve this, please read my post in the buy/sell section. I know that we can serve as diplomats.
