... I'm confused, do you guys accept raw pelts straight? I never really figured out, hence my obsession with tanning... ((Though I suck and can do only small stuff >.<, bleh...))
And what kind of pelts do you crafters want, if there is something going outside the grizzly/brown pelts. ((Maybe polars, if I can find them and feast on thier entrails, just don't know where they are.))

PELTING ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN TO ME (then HIDEing)[/b]
(Wierdness - the answer to your question is in 2 & 3, but I thought Id include the rest for others who may wish to know)
1. TYPE OF PELT - There are 2 types of pelts - those you can get with the Skinning Knife (used for ATS) and those on the corpse (used by the HotU native weak tradeskills) - people will only want the skinnable ones.
2. SKILL NEEDED - Most people requesting pelts only expect them in a raw format as it requires no skill to skin an animal, but curing, tanning and hardenting all require skill points in tanning.
3. USES - People may also want raw pelts because there are a number of items that require Cured or tanned hides, although most require hardened (to make into cloths
4. TYPE OF ANIMAL - Unless otherwise stated, most people will Brown and Grizzly pelts. These are the only 2 that can be turned into Large Hides/Cloths. Polars and Blacks turn into Large White and Black respectivley and are currently not usuable. If people want other pelts they will generally be VERY clear on what they want.

Yeah Silentus is right, the crafters want brown/grizzly and nothing else really, I've been gathering pelts and trading them for some really nice equipment over the last week, I even started delivering them already hardened since I was doing tanning anyway  Now if I could only pick some flowers without hacking up the whole garden to get 2 or 3 out of it  |

Yes thank you Silentus. Excellent explanation. Anoushka charges an X amount of pelts for an item. If you can deliver hardened hides, only half the amount is needed. All Brown and grizzly of course. *Anoushka hopes Ahlin will think of her when placing these huge orders  * |

I only have good items to trade if you like any weapon, piece of jewelry or armor(still, except AoC....I need hardened hides to practise)
Indeed, with enough hides (myrk ingots in abundance) to practise on I can perfect my skills in armorcrafting.

All Weapons, All Armor, All Jewelry, All Tailored Items (though I ned a few shots for high level cloaks) Only hitch is that he wont trade to evil types unless he is already thier freind (unless of course he underestimates the power of your sneakiness ) Pelt me! |

Lol, I'm stuck then, I'm part of the Dusk Traders ^ ^
My character now has become a weapon conneseur... Basically, I would get my hands on every weapon of reknown that isn't extoic... or myrk weapon, whatever...
In terms of armor, I'm looking for a good tailored item that can be altered like crazy. ((Basically something that isn't a robe or real *armor*, kinda like the paladins tunic with statistics, hopefully one that can add to CHA for RP purposes.))
Edit: Looking for a martial proficiency weapon with the highest possible to hit add >.<
Anything that resists lightning alot... I have a very bad grudge with a Erinyes... And I want to go toe to toe with one without using quicken harm/max blade barrier... In fact, I wonder if the erinyes sword is actually a PC item... Now that would be a sexy weapon to defeat people with...
Assuming I can get my rankings high in mining, I can get some myrk, I know where it supposedly is.

Try blue dragon armor to resist electricity, you can probably buy it in ranstadt. Ring of power also has resistance to electricity I think. |

Check out the back biter dagger, or whatever the name is, something like that. It's a +20 dagger, highest AB weapon and it's even a simple to boot.
There is jewelry with good lightning resist, I know there is a necklace with at least /25. Can't remember which, though, but it's available.

Yeah, I got a ring of pwoer, I swear they do damage other than electricity, and that;'s why they hit me for 40, not that I can't take it.. My hp racks up to the 600s with buffs.
