WANTED: Cool Kukri

I want to get some kukris for my character but I notice there aren't many cool weapons for sale. I can find +3 (not that I have the level yet) but nothing with extra stuff. Come to think of it, there's not a lot of extra stuff for any weapon or armour. Is this because the server's intention is for player-to-player commerce?

Anyway, my character (Caiaphas 'Cai' Genharadar, Halfling Fighter) wants some cool kukris, with some visible effect to impress other people (you know, flames, or acid or something). Currently he has two +2 kukris which are a bit boring.

He's only 8th level so can't afford (or use) high level stuff.

Can any of you crafters please contact me, either in game or here on the forum. I'll also look for crafters in game (I've seen Vugor online a few times, so I'll ask him next time I see him).

You'll also have to tell me how to go about getting these pelts you want. Is it just a matter of using a skinning knife on a dead bear?

Thats it, use a skinning knife on a dead bear. Only browns and grizzlies though.

Just as an aside, there is a descent amount of higher end items, they are just not sold in most locations. In general the best sutt is craftable only, but most 40th levelers have 2 or 3 items that are 'stock' because they are simply the best for thier build and better than the craftable equvilant.
