Hello Mak,
I love the addition of the soup kitchen in the inn, have already used it for RP. It also brought up some other ideas.
Most paladins and clerics are expected to tithe, maybe add another priest int he temple, but his job is not only to accept tithes for Tyr, but all non-evil dieties. I envision a conversation that listens for the character to tell which diety his tithe is for. The priest assures him/her that records will be kept incase communication is established and then assertions that ones committments were fullfilled while in the planer rift we are all trapped in.
Also a priest who can offer atonement to paladins and clerics or other classes of characters who feel they need to be forgiven for an act to speak with.
Also, a donation chest in the temple where gold or items can be put in (deleted like a trash can, but called donations) to help the priests (hoping you add more) continue to make whole all adventurers and NPCs that are killed by characters. My character does not feel the need to tithe, but he would be willing to donate gold and religous items found to the temple (especially considering how often he has been reserrected at no cost).

I have to agree with you there AvengersWraith, while my primary charcter does not deal with the gods too much, I know alot do. I (must be a big geek because I) frequently RP with inanimate objects and NPCs, likes Mysaides Grave, Larry the chicken, The Ferrus dog (patron saint of all those over thier heads) etc... I have frequently gone in the Panteon Temple and seen Characters in tehre alone RPing with their gods idol.
Not only do I like the donation (trash) chests, but I would ultimatley like to see more temple to differnt gods sprout up in appropriate settings for each. the more popular the god (or more fanatic his/her followers) the more likely there would be other temps about.
(BTW, Unless Makz asks me not to, I will soon be posting a detailed description of all the standard Fredian Gods here on the forums - from time to time it is handy to see)

And I'll chime in on this as well being one of the few clerics of Fredian;-)
Thank you so much for the soup kitchen, it's a great idea and helps alleviate some of the guilt over wanton slaying of critters for their hides:-)
The temple issue... this could quickly become unruly with so many gods, but what about shrines? These could be smallish placeables depending on the deity, with a place for offerings/donations whatever... and then rather than dashing out to the desert for some spiritual interaction our faithful Fredians could visit the local shrine. Any thoughts?

Thats pretty much what I had in mind too Hanah, I dont think it would be good to have large temples all over the place - I was thinking a small scale (didnt really type that in though I guess.)

NO to putting a full description of Gods in... the basic one was there for a reason.. to get players off their lazy butts and out there to see the wonderful way it works, that addicted spent weeks making.
*ticks* list, yes, sometime.
Makz.
