Hi, I was wondering if there was a possiblity of hosting a few DM events at a little later hour from time to time. I generally am not able to get on till at least 8:30 Pacific time, and subsequently have to miss most of the events. I have seen Addicted on pretty late occasionally; any chance of this?
I dont think Im the only one missing events due to timing, but maybe... who knows. Thanks for your consideration none the less:)

Maybe later events could be planned for fridays/weekends. That would allow W coast people to join and just mean E coast people would have to stay up later.
But 8:30 PST seems a little late (that's 12:30 EST), assuming most people are in PST-EST time zones. I'm not sure how many European/Middle East/Asian people are here. At any rate an even that late might be very small, who knows. All food for thought.
I don't really care if some of the events are later, since there are quite a few in the first place. There are also a lot of un-announced events done at various times.

Historically, Cartoonic has done the weekend events (but for whatever reason, doesn't post them, probably because he does them as on-going stories where mine are start/end and the next one is a new thing). I've avoided posting on weekends mainly so I don't collide into anything that he is doing. I do know that Saturday nights are pretty good (most of the ones I have seen him do seem to be in the sunny hours). I just had some strange feeling that everyone would want to go out dancing on Saturday night instead of playing the Isle of Fredian, but I think those days are over -- there used to be a time I tried to run events when lots of people are on. Now, we just have lots of people on all the time. But it would still be sad if you missed an event because you wanted to go dancing on Sat. I'll see if I can run one on the weekend for ya Vugor. I'll talk to the other DMs and see what their plans are so I can miss them. I know there are others who work late, commute long distances, etc... I've been thinking about winding down events for a couple of weeks to focus on development and, believe it or not, just taking a break (although I've got to fix busted Damien + PGS. Those two really need to get done). It might depend on my workload at work. Sometimes I get in a lull where I am waiting for a response from a client before I can continue and I sit down with my yellow notepad and write a quest, other times I have to do it when I am at home which by then I'm pretty exhausted anyway We'll see how it goes as to keeping weekly or not w/ the event thing.

On this note i'll make a few points about what i do for quests and on this topic.. A.) Really i can't do quests that late due to the simple fact i would be rather tired out and B.) On addicteds note i prefer announcing quest in game so i can grab the players that are on at the time and know their statistics etc. Cartoonic.
