Hey When i log on, a lot of the textures are plain white, like the tree in the middle of west styne, and felix the cat. I have the cep, and i've made sure that it isn't corrupt. Perhaps there is something wrong with my graphics card? I admit that it's crappy, a 16 mb nvidia. Would upgrading to a 64 mb fix my problem?

I'm no expert but I had this same problem. I also had a crappy Vid card. Have since upgraded. First is all the texture packs loaded on you machine. This is only an option when installing the game. To get them on my machine I had to reinstall everything. I did that when I installed my new vid card. Took some time and had to back everything up. Someone else can post how, I cant remember what all I saved in another folder. After I reinstalled the world was no longer white.

It happens to everyone. It is either a hak pack bug or a CEP bug. Nothing we do can fix it. Taking armor off and then back on fixes that. Weapons are the same. I don't know if relogging helps but it might. Hope that helps.
Hmmm that depends if it is always white serpitus...if you had that problem I guess my post would not help that much...leave it here just in case though...

If a player is seeing all white, and has a fairly recent video card, THE ONLY thing needed, is a fresh install of CEP 1.01.

Sometimes, but rather rarely, relogging (e.g. leaving the server and then coming back WITHOUT RESTARTING NWN) can cause ALL CEP items to be whited out in your inventory and quickbar.
only way to fix that is to RESTART NWN. also, the problem with limbs missing or being silver/white can also ONLY be fixed by doing a RESTART of NWN (or unequipping and reequipping and item and/or asking other players that SEEM to be missing parts to do the same, which is rather annoying)

I have been getting this once and a while and it always clears up if I log out and restart NWN.

Add +2 years to the age of your video card in determining if it is fresh if that card is a Radeon.
I had a 1 year old 9200 that had the white textures. When I got the 9800 XT (based on the Pro chips), it went away.
Nvidia likes NWN.
But wait, there's more... NWN2 and Dragon Age are going to be a different game altogether, due to the adoption of the directX 9 platform...
