Now that the rogues got A LITTLE attention, lets take a look at the clerics and how useless they are, shall we, ;D If anyone is listening, Shouldnt the value of haveing a cleric in your party be just as high if not higher than haveing a rogue in it? Not to say that rogues are valued enough  but you know what I am getting at... |

I know, I know, it's those darned potions of heal that are so cheap.... *sniffle* I can't help it, I run around with my spells *tailored* to be a medic for my party but they just swig those potions and poof.... *wipes eyes* I mean.... *blows nose* everyone loves with I give them a free res but other than that, nooooo.... It's enough to make Hanah want to be a bad girl and memorise six harm spells instead of the six heal I regularly stock.... where's the ice cream....

ah clerics my first love oh how i... *trails off*
nevermind all thats needed to know is clerics used to be my first choice character, they are not useless at all and when it came to my pvp days... (that makes me sound old lol) clerics was to be feared, they was the only thing that could stop me, and well mages, and there was that one bard, but other than that clerics are first choice with theyre great spells and buffs and combat abilities and domains

I'm going to have to disagree here, clerics are stand up characters in their own rights. They don't need anything else to make them more usefull. OK, so healing and res. has gone a little to the wayside, mostly we all have heal potions and rods of res.
But priest useless? Please. Priests may be better fighters than, well fighters, if built right. I know priests can have the highest attack bonus when buffed...

I found that the settings of the server makes clerics to tend to go Battle orienteted and that Hannah is right Medics wish are origanally the pnp type of clerics, are usuless in Fredian because of the availlability of heal everywhere...
On the other hand makes Hanah unique if the server change her settings they would be all over the place...
:-)
Also having only the one temple of Tyr and almost no other does not encourage people to play clerics... I mean maybe somekind of evil church *grins* or a Neutral one...
And making the heal and raise a bit harder to get...

Thats what I was getting at Adyanna, If the prices of the potions were higher.................... Whoooow!!! ;D ;D I think we would see a big diffrence in a lot of stuff.. It would be for the greater good of Fredian ;D and all the clerics throughout the land........... Clerics would then be able to be clerics as aposed to some hybrid of a fighter.... In my opinion of course.  |

I am locking this topic it is going nowhere... and once again, it is NOT possible without making CUSTOM potions to change the price of them individually. There are all sorts of things I could play with to make balances against biowares ideals... but.. a: check what I just said.. b: not everyone feels the same way  Makz. |
