All the Deities in the Pantheon is a GREAT idea... however when you click on them you only get a cool visual effect. What if for a deity that a Character worshipped somehow changed them... Maybe each click on a diff deity changes alighment.. (could be good for RP say a PAlly who falls to a Blackguard etc..) or even as far as say the Nature Deity for a druid so you get plus 1 to wisdom or a plus to a skill in wilderness... and same for all other?? good idea bad idea? be honest

Bad idea imo. You dont want Alignment to be a casual thing. Plus Makz has areas / quests that are alignment restricted. This could lead to metagaming behaviour.
If you really have the wrong alignment from initial setup, Good/Evil can be modified by actions - Lawful/Chaotic I understand can be modified by the DMs with a wand. It is not something theywill do lightly though and should be requested ONLY for RP purposes - I believe I saw a post stating that if it was found to be for metagaming purposes the player will be prosecuted (I dont remember how harsh and couldnt find the original post).

OK ..I agree very good Point. However what about the simple plus to a stat or skill... ? I guarantee people would visit pantheon more often and be more open about their deity and should inspire more RP...

I think that is very good concept - I dont think a temporary buff would be out of line, or a heal (or a harm for Asarelah).
The problems I see there are again metagaming. Some people will definately go there, click on all the gods they can for buffs (reguardless of thier alignments or belifs) then KeHaar off to where they want to go. Also it means some more scripting for the powers that be. They make the call though, if they like the idea, Im sure we'll see it.
Personally am against it unless one of the following is in place: 1. It is somehow alignment restricted 2. It is restricted to only one buff allowed total. I'm no scripter and don't know how hard that would be or if it is even possible. 3. It is restricted to effects that cant really be abused. Healing would be good example (cause there is no real close KeHaar to there)
Is the scriting worth the work - I think so if it isnt a Herculean effort or anything. What do all of you guys think?

Anah (in the pantheon but not at the Clevian shrine) has always bestowed an additional, nonvisual effect.... and in my forays out to Alvearia with lockpicking friends few if any seemed to abuse that one.
Perhaps if the additional effects were really minor/shortlived that would also encourage those who would beg every deity for a little blessing as it wouldn't be worth the time it took to click... more of a token acknowledgement of their worship. I mean, who cares if you run around, click on every statue and get a full row of buffs across the top of your screen if the first ones start expiring by the time you get the last ones:-)
In regards to the actual RP, ItalianDDog.... if you want to learn about Anah talk to Hanah IC... if you want to learn about Zadok, I believe there is a lady named Mistress Cymaniel who'd be glad to talk to you... there are established representatives for several of the other gods as well. On the topic, thanks to 'Lord Grey, Knight of Kedemah' (player name is escaping me) who months ago pointed out Anah in the pantheon to me!

NO plus to skill or stat will be applied from a Deity, unless Nat decides to do some fiddling with some scripts, anything would be a temporary effect, which some already do. That should, by their definition.
Makz.
