i think it might add some to the rp if there was a marrage hall and maybe some houses about , maybe some dm work for changing last names if the cuple sees fit ...also i was thinking . maybe kids ...if you have a house and a partner, if the dm sees fit maybe he could make a npc child...i think weddings would be great non war events...and be good for getting to know the people of the island ...just a thought ...

take a look at styne castle would be fine for weddings...
there is housing available for people meeting certain standards... makz doesn't want people who pop up bail in a a few weeks to waste space in the MOD... If you put in the time and show yourself to be a community member a home is not out of the question...
Not sure about the NPC children thing... though there are PC children running about ... Mackenzie has his daughter Lanah running about...

Weddings have taken place. The one that I attended took place in the Pantheon - which a DM (Nat I believe) spruced up for the event. There are player houses all over IoF Not all of them are obvious though. As Spathic said, you do need to attain a certain amount of consistancy and longevity on the server before they may be available for you  Kids... Im assuming that this wont happen. The problem resides in that kids grow up. Plus Makz has clearly stated that he has no intent to modify players files. If you wish to play a kid, I gues I would choose a halfling or gnome and for sub-race type Child (or something to that effect)N and choose an appropriate pic and voice. Kee in mind you will need to recreate the character from scratch if you ever want them to grow up though |

Lanah is a perfect example. Chlid to Mack and Cella, started out as a child (halfling) and has grown up (remake into a human). It's been fun to sit back and watch this RP out.
