Submitting a Diety?

Okie dokie, it's coming down to that time where I should start getting the ball rolling and watch where it goes.

Basically, I've been, with the help of Mack's fun fun, have been slowly becoming infatuated with a faith that currently isn't in the pantheon, but could possibly, if somehow approved...

I basically need the specs on what I need to write, because I want to really start cracking on this.

I also somehow have to get across the barrier of "Is this diety too sick for this server?" Namely, Neyakiea is a pretty dirty goddess of what is on showtime at 12 at night... Honestly, I don't want to make this place ultra immoral, but I do want to add a kinda... well, natural feel to the pantheon. If you notice in FR, a lot of regions worship Sharess, why? Well, it's pleasurable. A lot of people will turn to a goddess or god to justify thier actions, sexual cravings tending to be one of them. Namely, Neyakiea is similar to that but more on the evil side of things, especially her liking for strange fetishes and whatnot... I have to go search for the thing I wrote to Joscma, I think I lost it.

In terms of statue effects... Hmmm, something that has to do with a crapload of charm magic... LOL

Well it depends what you write on it. I think we have stated our content as "Teen" I suppose the question is how kinky teens get, or if the fact that we have a deity dedicated to murder, isn't already too sick. Its a strange standard what parents think about these days.. I don't know why your little diosythenes (SP???) is any different

On that matter, you can write it like a proper Greek if you want to make the point but not gross anyone out.

There are certain servers in the Social section if you really want to swing that way....

Of course, if you want to add a deity you'll have to RP it to life. It can only take the collective faith of a large number of people to add one. This is not a stopper, but really, why add everyone's little favourite deity when there are no worshippers? It is consistent with a D&D styled universe that a deity's strength increases or fades based upon the faith and sizes of their churches. Fredian doesn't have to be this way, but this is the model we've inherited. Should we do this different?

There are actually three new rising deities. But MINE! MINE! MY SECRET! muahah..

Kirkash hasn't had any worshippers that I know of since the server started. Maybe he might die off as a forgotten god

Wierdness, I have the message you sent me with the description and all that and I can send it back to you if you want.

As for a 'teen' rating, there are already other things here that would bump the rating even higher. Take Getty for example. He already bumped that rating up through the roof, especially with his baby killing (and that moves the bar a lot further than what Wierdness wants to do IMO). Anyway, like addicted said, you might want to write it in like a Greek fashion or whatever not to offend the people who are sensitive to that stuff.

Nat, I currently have one PC that follows Neyekiea currently. Wierdness is already getting the ball rolling here. Just takes some time

-A name
-A catchline visual effect
-A comma separated list of values
-A short description (can be mystical and vague if need be)
-A long description

2) a floating phantasmal killer

Okay, in terms of infecting the world, here's my dillema, I want to rp my worship, but I want to spread the word... how am I going to do this hmm... Neya,as much as she loves public orgies, knows that it gets the church in trouble... Hmm...

Anyway, Neyakiea is a diety I made for my suplement ENS, which is basically a hex version of D&D with wierd wierd rules. She also is a nice alternative for those who aren't "good" and still want to get laid, lol.

How many people do I need before it becomes worthwhile?

I have a few more prospect followers, I have to talk to them, but as of late, I've had trouble balancing my need for worship, which is RP, and leveling. I'll eventually need someone else to do some of my evangelistic work later. Anyway... I'll IM you the work I'll do later.

What is our stance on FR deities? Bhaal is an FR deity.
