I have recently visited the bioware site and found something VERY interesting. PRC (player resource consortium) is creating more for NWN. Adding prestiges feats, skills, and spells all from PnP (to include FR and other expansions). As many ppl know i am an avid PnP fan so i am all for this system. I understand the time it would take to add this to Fredian but the options PRC offers you just cant overlook. there is a download and a list of additions Anyone who wants to read up on this (MAKZ??) can go here nwnprc.netgamers.co.uk/index1.html

I dont know where this came from but All I have to say is WOW!
Those guys (PRC) are some dedicated mothers.
Almost rival Makz himself. "Almost"
Lots of options there. Checked it out earlier. Really way to much to take in one sitting. The humungous new spell lists could help the "Its a fighter -- Dev crit World" on fredian. The prestige classes geared towards Mages i.e. Arch mage and ooze master could also sway the balance back towrds mages. I do see some issues with spells from the Minature handbook. They were written for a twist on PnP to help the minature game. And some may be to powerful in game. But I would have to play them in a NWN setting to conclude on that.
And to be a pessimist Remember every change causes its own set of problems.

Interesting, new, bugs? for sure, want it now, no, later? maybe, maybe not. Other things to worry about, other things MORE important.

I think all the maintenance stuff should be dealt with first and new stuff by our talented scripters at least before considering adding new content from the Vault. I personally would rather wait until it makes it way into CEP.

All of those new prc classes are bugged to high heaven and incredibly unbalanced, some are incredibly powerful while other are not worth using a character slot for (oozmaster sucks as a prc class, and arch mage is reliable as a windows update) they make the script for those classes but they do little to no testing of them, which means the staff has to manually fix the problem themselves.
The classes would also have to balanced with the sub races, i can already think of some class comboes and subracers that would make someone impossible to be killed by anything.

I have to agree with both sides. ITS AWESOME, but there are the occassional bugs. I would like to see this in here, at least it will give players more options on PrC and maybe that new Base class (Samurai).

We are talking about something I have NO intention of adding ANY time soon. Sorry, discussion over.
