Hi, you may have seen me around as Greegor GreatAxe. First, I think the current tournament is really cool. My problem with it (I didn't enter) is that I found my character stinks at PVP. I'm pretty good at bashing monsters though. So it made me think of another idea for a tournament. How about a tournament against monsters instead of people. Some examples would be 1) how fast you can kill 30 metal spiders. Or 2) How fast you could kill a dragon (if you could). Or 3) How long you would last against a very tough foe, or several foes that come at you nonstop until you die. Things like that. That would give those of us a chance who didn't make PVP builds (or just did it poorly  ) a chance to compete with each other indirectly. A DM may even want to possess a dragon or something and fight the player (but that might make it unfair). Just a thought. |

look for my Friday night fights, Bernie. it usually tirns into a PvP battle, but if you wanted to fight just critters I'd have no problem bringing about some nasties for you to fight against... *should* be having them tonite as long as it doesn't interfere with the castille tourney. and can we all come spend a "Weekend at Bernies??" lol I *had* to sorry....  |

Don't get the foot thing sorry. As far as what I meant though, I'd like to see a formal tournament with prizes like the Castille tourney. I'd like to have people compete with eachother, without engaging eachother. It can be simultaneously or one at a time. For instance, on one side of the field, player A battles ancient red dragon A, and the same goes for player B on the other side of the field. Who ever finishes first wins. Maybe it's a lame idea. I just want to get my hands on some goodies and know I have no shot in the tourney the way it is now. |

might be able to work out something like that, Bernie, but not like tonite or anything.... and Phoenix is refering to *my* foot, I broke my ankle pretty good ( click here for a pic of the xray (post surgery) ) it's getting much better phoenix, 2 more weeks and I can officially weight it again  climbing career (very very easy routes, for now) resumes 1 week after that. hehe |

One of my characters (Octo Morenkind) is more than happy to give out crafted items as prizes for fights. If you can contact him in-game, he'd be happy to act as a sponsor for any events. Anything to drum up more business.
Granted, an ultimate yellow cloak isn't nearly the same wonderful prize as a genesis ring... but, if several prizes go out and characters can win items nearly every week, then it might not take long for folks to get a rather nice assortment of equipment (if they aren't crafters themselves).
