The ultimate quest!

... Okay, okay, I made a fricken mistake, shoot me!

I realized that what they do is sneak damage, which racked me for 100, and the fact I never used any of my brains to fight them, so scratch that... Or fight the DM based elite, now thats a challenge!

I would like someone to try and hit Ahlin the Lunatic when she gets her items up, if my calc is correct, she can hit 90s in AC... ((She still sucks though, the build is cute, but not ultra competetive for the most part))

I have yet to try Damien yet with Lunatic, but I have a feeling I can beat him in his own game for the most part, the way Jo smacked him, as I've heard, ((I spend like... every hour of my gaming with him as Noe the Silver Fox, basically a strange lesbian couple...)) I'll have to test that when I hit level 40 with her, when I have the time to level her. But I have fought him, but I never finish because I just leave for the arcane plane. I don't die instantly, thats for sure.

The quest would be a last priority, plain RP and DM interaction usually fills up my time, if I ever had to do it, but since Ahlin is a body changing freak, I really just start new fun..

Heh, but its tough to do it, I'm still working out the kinks in my system of body changes, so far, its become apparent that some of her bodies are interconnected, while others exist outside of the original... kinda like a body stealer!

Heheh, I wanna have fun in a 40 quest with Lunatic, it'll be cute! Of course, I'll never shut up because ahlin is a COWARD.

A 40th level quest is no problem. Makz doesnt have to make one up for you. If I am on and you want to do a 40th level quest ask. I will do one for yah. . I enjoy doing quests. Anyhow when Makz wants to make anouther quest he will. Just to let you know I dont have to come up with them off the top of my head if you like the module style. I have about a million modules ;D Ok Ok not a million. But allot .
Of coarse this is only if the Man wants me around after my trail run.

You're right addicted, I do have about 70 ab depending on weapon with my current character, probably 73+ on my new char
I have gone down to damien twice so far, first time the game bugged out and my char just would not attack at all, he just sat there like it was lagging while damien whacked me a few times... then I ran away heheh.. so the second time it was a fair fight and we were both hitting eachother pretty hard, but he got a sneak attack on me or something I don't remember and I ran away again ;D So if anyone wants to fight him with me just let me know!

Mitza, the DM events are fun but i've only ever been in 1 because of different time zones etc... I was also in an "event" with Ride and some others when we got to choose which monsters we wanted to fight in the arena, that was fun too

Instead of hard, how about making the quest complex, like OC quests, only more so?

Give like 6 different responses to each option in the conversation, each leading in different ways, many involving persuade or intimidate or bluff or lore checks... a huge web of possibilities, something like 25-40 different outcomes for the quest. Each outcome could net you a single highly-useful item or somesuch, but the quest could only be run once--no once-per-week nonsense here!

Obviously, this would take a couple weeks to script (and run as a PC), but that's the point, since it's "the ultimate quest." (It would also create humorous OOC conversations: "I got 'Bracers of Smackdown' from the UC, what did you get?"--"Oh, I got the 'Cloak of Asskicking")

I would make this quest runable by chars of, oh, say, level 35. Each item would be fairly well balanced (and a level 40 item). For example, one item could be a ring that gives regeneration + a lot (whatever the max is), one could give mega damage resist, one could be a longsword +15, etc. It IS possible to make items that are level 40 that only do ONE THING, but do it very well. Of course, some could be mod-specific (Unique Power Self only stuff), like something that gives you a permanent binding to ALL the Kehaar stones or something that gives you faster move speed than any monk (but not by much), ideally 320% (since monks can get to 315%) or something that gives you a (bunch of?) cool henchman (henchmen), like a pet dragon or a swarm of zombies.

Of course, I don't see this as likely to happen
