I would like to express my fondness for Party chat. It is a wonderfull tool. Lets say you are sitting around the reflecting pool in Castille with a few chums and lasses. and the group next to you are having there own conversation about the glories of the newly crafted pack ox harnesses. Well you and your chums are discussing the world series of poker. I find it the best way is to "PARTY" together to remove the ooc chatter. Even if the person you are discussing the beauty of a well played bluff with is not within 10 levels of you or is an alignment you find vile well so what the chatter is OOC"
Ah the beauty of party talk. It really cleans up the dialogue box when in large diversified and multiple groups. Wonder if it reduces lag in conversation zones?

Party chat can be good, however dont forget that IF the conversation you are talking about in party is something that others should be able to hear (ie stratagy that your characters have not talked out, slander of other characters, IC stuff...) it should not be in party as being overheard should be a real concern. If it is OOC its totally cool to be in party or to a lesser degree if it is IC but really chatter of no consequence.
Just a reminder.
