Pretty self-explanatory question. The "Why?" part goes in a post, of course, it's not multiple choice.

I am totally against item level restrictions. They're simply unrealistic, pointless, and inhibitive. Without item level restrictions, people would spend more time looting and looking for gold at lower levels so that they can buy uber gear. Currently, there is more focus on leveling.
This is not to say that removing item level restrictions would remove spawn-camping, promote roleplay, and solve world hunger. But the current system, with item level restrictions, is just so d*mned frustrating. Whoop, my character can't confront Bodaks at all at level 9 even though he ownz them at level ten, because the item is too pricey.
Item level restrictions are so horridly unrealistic, there's no excuse to have to deal with this. I mean, the current system creates characters that seek out intangible invented units of currency instead of possessions and material wealth. In RL, someone doesn't buy you jeans, and you say, "sorry, I haven't killed enough zombies yet to wear these, I'll explode if I put them on." Item level restrictions inspire such realistic conversations as:
"Want to party up?"
"No, busy, I have to powerlevel so I can buy a +3 weapon and kill that golem downstairs"
God forbid that someone should actually be able to make purchases based on the amount of money they have.

I'll stop now. I could b*tch about Item level restrictions for another five paragraphs if I felt like it, I just needed to vent. Really, with the current level of cooperation I'm getting from my comp, my opinion on the matter doesn't count as much anyway.
