Just an idea that popped into my mind, I have no idea how it got there Back in the early 90's I was playing a mud (BKL). And through quests and tournaments it was possible to win personalised, unique gear. Slightly modified and improved gear, with the characters name on it. To translate this to this millennium, I will use Trebor's barricade and Anoushka as examples. After succesfully completing a series of quests, <a god> is very pleased with Anoushka's actions. He takes her Trebor's Barricade and permanently enhances it a bit. From now on, that particulary shield will be known as Anoushka's barricade. The improvement will be minor, like a bit more regeneration, or +11 AC shield modifier instead of +10. Things like that. I realise this will probably never happen, with the 1900+ craftable items we already have, and the time needed in the toolset to create an item. But I just thought it would be cool to walk around in such gear. Also, the reward factor of these items would be very high... Anoushka is in hibernation at the moment btw, the character is bugged. She won't return until the problem is solved. She advices anyone seeking her services to contact Octo Morenkind.

Renaming of items in game is not possible, and I I am most definitely not doing it manually. Topic closed.
