Well one thing that the server is lacking is way for the characters alignment and class to effect the quests he gets. As of right now I have seen no quests that other classes an not get.
My suggestion - Class based quests
Two examples of this would be -
A. Assassin is hired to kill a upper class polition by an opposing polition or a powerhungary guild boss.
B. Harper Scout notices strange footprints in the snow heading up towards a house on a hill (Brought to you by Floating Text Triggers). Harper Scouts natural instinct should be to investigate it.
If Makz does not wish to actually implement it into the game perhaps the DM's could do this in game. I think this would bring a bit more of diversity betweens the classes instead of always doing the same quests for each charater a player makes and will allow for a new eperience (in return players staying longer, experimenting and not powergaming).
Also if there could be more on the different alignments. Obviously an evil priestess would not search for healing kits for the peasents but they would try to overthrow their superiors. A good wizard would most certainly search for potion ingrediants for a big nosed gnome but an evil wizard would find himself killing and stealing the gnomes potions for himself. (And I don't men reature items that drop like Slaad's Tongue's)
I know this would take a lot of work but it would give players something to do besides powergaming and a lot of writing jornal entries and scripts but the additional quests nd the choosing of the ending would bring new life to the newer players and the ancient players alike.
P.S. - My right side of the keyboard is not working right now for some reason so I appologise for any misspelling or missing letters in advance. I sometimes have to hit these letters four-five times to get them to show up. These letters consist of - caps, shift, ctrl, alt, z, a, q, x, c. nthing else is just me being stupid ;D
