I have been playing on the server for a few months and there appears to be a bug or bad coding with the book you use to teleport yourself. Sorry if I missed any threads on this. It's one thing to be teleported to areas that there is no stone near but, its another thing to get teleported to and area on top of a hill with no way down. In my book I have North Styne in the first slot of my book. Yesterday I used it to get there and poof im on top of the hill behind where the stone is placed in that area. I have seen a few other problems with the book teleporting persons to other areas. I just asking that someone look into it.
Thanks Gorgoroth

Actually, that is how the book of Keehar normally operates. The entries in the book are NOT persistant, which means that they disappear and you have to re-enter them... usually they start by wandering so that the first thing you will notice is that all of a sudden you are not appearing beside the Keehar stone, this is a good time to touch the book to the stone again as they can wander pretty far and fast. The first thing I do every day when I enter the game is to check my Keehar entries (i.e. I use each of my usual entries) to see if they have wandered, If they have I will go touch the stones of the ones I want to keep. A word of warning, sometimes the book will show entries for places you have not been to, be VERY careful about using these entries because it could be very dangerous, and if you go to the wrong place, you could end up stuck there.

Ok so if it shows areas u never been doesn't that mean its a bug. I'm not a scripter but, I have been working with the neverwinter toolset since it came out and currently working on a PW project. If they have persistant save locations from when you log in. This would be the same. Getting stuck in locations is bad game mechanics. ;D *and thats my 2 cents*

Perhaps you would like to tell Lilac Soul about his scripts ? actually, as said, the Ke'haar stones are NOT persistent, they do not store to a database, that is not what they are for. We have persistent location storage for players themselves, not what are supposed to be temporary useage teleporters, designed mainly for newer players to use to get back to if they died, respawned at the temple, and don't want a long walk. If players paid attention to important information on the forums, and, more importantly the message on log in at the west styne portal initially, they would know to ALWAYS update locations in the book each time. Subject closed... again Makz.
