I understand it, but..
Walk all the way there, stop on the way and use the book get to the ore.. mine it and fill my packs almost done and ready to head back, the server crashes.
Log back in *boom* got to walk all the way back.
Maybe 24hour expiration on the book binds?

I am sorry, but yet again, you as well as many others, are failing to see what the Ke'Haar stones are. They are, and have always been a temporary useage system. The reason they ended up being saved SORT OF in the books between visits and loads occasionally reliably, was a PURE FREAK of the bioware saves. THERE IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE persistent database use behind them. There is no timer, there is no database storage, I realise a lot of this stuff is way beyond most peoples understanding. That is why I simplified the issue. Now, they will be used as they were designed without intervention of what is basically a bug caused by the bioware engine, making them SEEM persistent. They were causing so many players who did not read about having to update them EACH visit to get stuck, they would just blindly use the book. Now, that is not an issue. I will not address this again. Any further postings on it will be deleted. Definition of persistence :- ALWAYS there, permanent, ie: your personal items stored so you can get them again next time again and again, ALWAYS Makz.
