Or perhaps standard items?
something to increase armorcrafting +30 (bioware armorcrafting) for grandmaster armorcrafters or just an item anyone could by
the same for weaponcrafters

Most of the time when modifing your armor/weapon, the DC ain't going to be higher than 30 (Well I haven't seen it go above 25). If such an item would be made, the benefit will probably be around 5 - 10 at the most. Besides, for you fighters, what are you going to use your skill points anyway .

I understanding wanting a + something to the skill, but 30 is way excessive. 5-10 max. If you want the skill, and want to be able to modify the highest level items in the game, put the skill points there.
A +30 item is a slap in the face to people who spent 30 skill points.
Atlantis, fighters are a bad example, they have the least skill points. What esle would the spend the points on? Tumble, spot, listen, open locks, and all these are cross class, so x2.

Well the Armor/Weapon craft I was getting to, besides, what other useful skill points they should put in anyway; concentrate (against Taunt), Taunt (not usually effective against another PC), Discipline (Okay, here is one ), or some other skill. Perhaps tumble, but you get my point; fighter is heavily toward feats than points, so put those points into the Crafting skills if your thinking of modifing stuff

yeah 30 would be a lot.. but the point is to make it no fail for grandmaster crafters is what I'd like to see. and he knows gloilin is a pure fighter pretty much probably why he used that example.

No try using your skill points for something other than min maxing as some of you do.
