I mentioned this earlier on the "player based deities", but I want this subject to have its own focus, or approval. Anyway, I came up the list of the deities favored weapons, some or most could be disagreeable, but of course these are unofficial unless the good 'ol Makz likes the idea . Here they are: Zadok - Whip Riphath - Staff Naphtali - Dagger Lotan - Scimitar/Staff Kedemah - Heavy Flail Jotham - Great Sword Jahziel - Rapier Ithran - Long Sword Havilah - Spear Asarelah - Scythe Anah - Morning Star Togarmah - Rapier Shimri - Gauntlets Reu - Shortbow Ophir - Spear Magog - Bastard Sword Korah - Halberd Kirkash - Darts

This list shouldn't be official or anything as such because 1) Players who created characters prior to the list, and serve one of IoF's deities, may or may not use the weapon that is favored by their deity, 2) not all weapons in that list are good enough to persuade players to use the weapon (whips and darts to name a couple), and 3) the current descriptions already in place do not need any more specifics because making the descriptions broad allows room for more creativitiy in RP.

JoScMa has summed this up very nicely but I'd like to add a bit to his third point.
Currently the deities on Fredian are open-ended. This allows individual players to interpret and explore a bit, adding to the personality of their character, rather than just creating another cookie-cutter devotee of god X.
I currently have two characters whose faith is important to their personalities... Hanah the priestess, and Kether the devotee. While I have for my own purposes written up a profile of Anah, and in collaboration with others done the same for Zadok, I am not interested in posting those here. Why? Because those ideas are mine, or mine and others'. I don't think it is appropriate for me to tell anyone 'how to RP faith in Anah' for example because it's none of my business how you RP.
While not necessarily relevant to a fantasy PW, think on how different people interpret faith differently in real life. Why would faith be significantly different on Fredian?
Rather than creating rote lists of facts or features of a god(dess), why don't you try RPing a character who has faith in one of the lesser explored deities? You might have a lot of fun doing it.

Joscma and Hanah, you have both put it quite eloquently. I'm in full agreement On the pragmatic side, what are we to expect with weapons? More scripting to add bonuses to people of deities that use those weapons? So because darts are weaker, I have to script extra benefits than a scimitar? The work for all that is immense, and the whining it would generate that xx weapon of yy deity is too strong or too weak... *curls up in fetal position and whimpers* The very notion of it would.... wreck the RP taste of the server as more militant personalities invade Fredian religion for tangible benefits. I will, however, switch sides now to say that the introduction of a weapon for symbolism is an extension of existing symbolism. For example, Kedemah's mountain. If I wanted to further clarify his characteristics, especially when he is wrathful, if he gets wrathful, then I can see a weapon would add a little more color to who he is. There are 18 statues to change. Quite simply, I don't want to go through 18 descriptions. Some deities are especially very unweaponly, like Korah, who is of the ages and probably beyond things like whapping someone with an instrument of metal or wood. So, no.
