Campfire Kit

Now I was trying out this neat thing and most of the time I couldn't place it anywhere...only place so far where i got it to work is Whillem, but in the Road to Whillem even, you cannot place one.
Any leads on which areas allow the placing of a campfire and which ones dont?
I was planning to use them for some rp in a few weeks and was trying it out to make preparations

Generally the campfires, first of all, should be telling you when you can't place it, so, that is not a biggy. Next, they work usually in cold snowy places, and places that don't have large spawns nearby, they do not work everywhere so as to help RP situations like you want .
