7 days is exactly 7 days, so you need to be a full 7 from the hour, minute, second, microsecond, and nanosecond you did that last quest.
Relog in the next few hours and it will rebuild your journal.

Further, it will not clear in your log during a session. If you log in at 6.99999999999 days it will not show as cleared until you relog. Also keep in mind that if you were in a party at teh time of doing the quest, there is that whole set of variables that could mess it up too. Going solo, I have seen cases that I swear it has taken more than 7 days - I have no idea why. Makz and Addicted say it cant happen, but Ive timed it (and know my way around quests quite well This is a very rare occurance however - as with all quest issues the answer is the same: wait it out.

Final word on this, ALL quests set exactly as addicted said now, have done for at least the last 2 mths since Salandra put unix time stamp checking on module load, it checks all existing players quest listings and cleans up... also as players log in, that is the ONLY time it redoes the existing journal entries so, even though a quest may be only minutes in difference, it will not update in the journal until YOU relog. And that is 100% accurate information, any differences can be put down to the gremlins.
