Hello, I'm hoping to have time to start a character on your server tonight. Look for a reasonably brave scout (well rogue, but my fingers aren't really that sticky) named Kiaya.

I've been poking around the boards, but I didn't find any info about HakPaks or any other downloads. Could someone please point me in the right direction to fond info for new people? Thanks and I look forward to seeing you on the island.

Welcome to the forums/server. Most of the info is here in the forums, is there something specific your looking for?

You should be able to find people in the spawn point of the server, it's a common gathering area, especially for lower level characters. You can stay in town with relative ease, but it's also safe to venture out alone. The spawn distance is pretty far, so nothing will 'jump' out right on top of you, giving you the chance to flee before getting in to deep.

Thanks, for the responses. Glad to see there's nothing to download (except for the login function).

I guess I was a little afraid that I'd get lost. There was one PW I tried that ... well let's just say I was alone in a huge city and spend 45 minutes looking for some way out or something to poke with my short sword.

as you see we have a pretty helpful group that are loyal Fredians. Read the rules, they are VERY simple, mostly courtesy related. And have fun.

You shouldn't have a problem finding stuff to fight, and like I said about the spawn distance, you can usualy run away safely. If you have a hard time look for my character (same as forum name) and I'll walk you around a bit. Of course it'll all have to be ooc, since my character would probably not help you.

It's always nice to have someone show you the basics, definatly sucks to walk around for a while and not find anything. Anyways if I should be on later tonight (after ~7PM EST) send me a tell if you need help. Just make sure to let me know your new, and not some random person looking for help.

In reality, if you ask, most good characters will give you a 'tour' in character. Most evil ones will ooc. All that it rally takes is to mention in a public place that you are new. Ususally someone will approach you and try to help out. Frequently even if they do not have time themselves, they wil try to recruit someone they know to take you around a bit. Most of us have done it at least a few times and are happy to help out a new person.
