Just a small update... I removed the horse from West Styne . Cartoonic informed me of its unfortunate hold it had on players.

A little reminder, or new news, to the playerbase. IoF unlike most NWN servers probably still in existence, has a security system in place using it's persistent MySQL database. What does this do? it checks your CD key into itself on login the first time you use it.

I have seen a couple of players now attempt to log in with different account names on the same CD key, this cannot, and does not get allowed. I am sorry if that is an issue for those who have multiple family members perhaps, but it is designed to stop players abusing anonymity in game. It also ensures that the player who uses that key is the player that owns it each time.

This, and many other systems in IoF, are what made it a fun place to play and gave it the edge we intend to use going forward into a real MMO. I hope those of you who have returned are enjoying the world, and that our DMs have been useful at the times they have been on.
