Not sure if this is even an issue or not but...Seems to my recollection was't there some kind of law passed by the king about knights not being able to be members of a guild? I could be wrong I think but I believe that was one of those safety clauses to prevent someone from having legitamate from the king and power from his own guild..
If the answer is no there is no law..
Now would be a good time to have one:)

I would vote on something like this. The only thing is there is corruption in government.....someone could always just say they have no ties to the guild and play the double role. I still think it should be reviewed though, especially if there is already a law on the books somewhere.
