I know no one wants to talk about this , and I'm not trying to bring it up up again ....but I was killed wile I was mining ...I have done nothing but help people ....this person asked me to go to battle with the drow, I answered I have no problem with the drow, and my people dont ...the hate is still there. he allso insulted my god (tyr) this is not needed please dont drag people in to your hate - AnoM  |

I'm a little confused, maybe you could give a little more details. Yeah, some people are evil and hate things, like maybe your god. What's the problem? Was it role played, or did the player say things out of character? I mean it sounds like they RPed it, because you said they insulted your god, that sounds in character. Some people are just playing the roles of evil hate filled people, it doesn't mean anything against you.
My main character, Phoenix, is evil as all sin. Should you get on the wrong side of him, yeah, he would kill you and not think twice about it. Of course if he only killed you that would be getting let of easy in his mind. He prefers more creative revenge. That doesn't mean I hate the player on the other end of the character I'm attacking, in fact the reason I'm attacking them is likely because I think your a good role player...

ok well ....maybe ...i did think it was out of context ...can we just go around killing players cause of what they look like?..or who they dislike or like .....i was always polite to this person and it was in rpg...even after that he kept saying stuff , and i kept on the good.....i dont know what is problem was... but im sure it had to do with the drow thing , i thought drow related killing was gonna stop?...i'm not drow nor do i look like one...if i look like any thing its a vampyre with blue hair...i'm just gonna check with the rules...but if any of you see me on ...say hi...AnoM ;D

no i didnt even think to get a shot of it , i didnt want to report this i'm just trying to find out more about what gos on here and what is acceptable...it just bugged me cause i was mining and defenceless even worse by a very high lvl player , who easly killed me...i mind my own business and i have been known to show up and in battles and raise people who i dont even know , maybe its a drow hate thing .... but i'm tired of talking about it..... sounds like i'm whining. see ya all there -AnoM ;D

I believe there was a edict by Makz that teh racial killing would stop. What I believe he was refering to was simple cases where character A comes up and kills character B with no speaking and no provocation. HOWEVER, I also took that to mean that there is no reason whatsoever that character A might be predisposed against all drow and speak against them vehemently (in character - not ooc) and RP the slaying of one or some, providing the parties involved seem to be in the RP spirit of it.
What we DO NOT want to see is senceless, non-RPed killings. This is just dumb and makes the game no fun for most invovled.
In short:
RP killing with all parties understanding OOC what it is about - good.
Non-RP killings - bad.
Scaring off newbies with dumb, senceless behavior - Bad.
