Next month I turn 36, the day after I become a half time college student. I passed the entrance exams today and only need to finish up some paperwork for financial aid (and retake 1 test if I want to skip Math 101 and go into PC technologies right away).
What makes this so special, beside the fact I am an old fart; I am a disabled, old fart who is trying to keep from having to get replacement parts for several of my joints and parts of my spine (which niether the state or federal government seems intestered in paying for, I think they assume it will be cheaper letting me live on disability benefits and foodstamps than fixing me).
Having gotten the chronic pain under control my mind is becoming more useful, not as sharp as when I was a young teen, but better than when I was to support a family and allowing my body to fall apart despite the mind numbing effects chronic pain can cause.
The only down side, I won't be able to play NWN on Fredian as much.
