Mackz always gets all the thanks as he should, being the one working on the world and all. My thanks here is going out to the DMs you now witch ones you are. I have had several encounters with creatures, the warped, and drows where I know the DM was controling them. This make me so happy I can not stand it. I love when a creature accually does something unexpected. I had an great fight against a DRow female the other day that tried all kinds of stuff on me, she appeared to be tring to hunt me and my friend down bad ass, loved it. Also fought against a warped fighter the other day that wanted to try some horrid wilting scrolls on me fun ;D. Thanks so much guys for doing this for me, and I am sure others as well.
Thanks

Heh...we always try, but there has been a few moments where people are NOT appreciative of DM interferance in this way. I particularly remember one incidant, where i saw an adventurer (not naming anybody here, gonna leave him anonymous) fighting Zombies in upper Styne castle. I though to myself: "Maybe this guy would like a little rp here...Ive seen him rp before.." So...I locked the doors so he couldnt leave the top floor...then, as i was about to spring my well thought out plan, he blasted me with an OOC comment along the lines of: "Hey, cut it out, im not in the mood for this f**king s**t!!" I replied: "Oh well...not interested in RP?" (A genuine question to set some boundaries). His response was once again abusive. Hmph. I let him go without another word, thinking maybe people just arent interested in that sort of thing anymore... So..thanks Kline...nice to hear that we are appreciated Im not gonna give up on the rp side of things now after all

Pfft! Bring it on! If folks want to stand around and kill monsters by themselves with no change ups, there is a single player mode to this game

Preech on, my brethern! I am always please to see those off little randomish tings that the DMs throw in from time to time, as well as the grander projects. It is TOTALLY unrealistic to be bale to expect the same kind of encounter every time - we only expect it because of the limitations of the game engine. Kudo's tothe DMs for breaking out of the box!

Yes, yes, I love it when the sometimes dull training process gets spiced up with a DMs interaction. Lets see, some of the things I have seen include: Odd doors. Hey sometimes they open for me, sometimes they shut in my face right when I'm running away. "Run AWAY!!!" Different actions. Hey WTF, he always cast XYZ, now he's... *ugh* Call for reinforcements. Hmm, I talk a little smack to them, and now look how many there are. *wets self* Talk smack. Hey I do it, but when exactlly did they start talking back. I love these 'little things,' of course sometimes they do bite me in the ass, but if I have pounded a 100 (whatevers) into the ground maybe the race got a little upset at me and sent something better out. But if you can't stand the pain of a respawn, play another game.

I totally missed the collective worshipping of Makz last week, so here's another chance. Why do I love Fredian? It takes away too much of my time, sleep, athletic activities and social life. That's why! I can only say: Thank you. Thank you Makz for creating this world. I'm only just beginning to understand what kind of devotion it takes to create, maintain and expand a lively world such as Fredian. Thank you Salandra for all the coding and the crafting system. Thank you all DM's. Your interaction makes monster encounters so much more enjoyable and your quests are widely appreciated. Too bad I rarely have the chance to enter one.... Thank you all builders and all who have contributed in building Fredian. And thank you all players who make it more then worthwile to play on the island of Fredian. /me sits down on his knees and worships you all.

I can only agree with the preceding speaker... Fredian is so much more fun than going through the original game in multiplayer. I especially love the RPing part with the other PC's. I have had some very amusing conversations. Anyway... thank you guys (& girls)! I really appreciate all the hard work you have put into this. RESPECT! P.s. Zhoreb: thanks for introducing me to Fredian.

I remember that night Kline...that was great. That was Lance's first time to Alveria too. A drow elite runs up to him from a place she isn't supposed to be and casts Harm on him. I almost wet my pants. ;D That was good stuff eventhough I died, but hey that's part of the fun too. Thanks for the good time....any DM's please feel free to pick on my chars a bit.
