No no....again, you're right. I am *not* the RP police, and I will never will be. I will *never* force someone to RP differently to how they want to. Its not my place to, and its certainly not anybody elses place to either.

If I have learned one thing in Fredian..
Even IRL style characters like Bob Bombastic ((He's so cool... )) are RP worthy even in the "ye olde days."
Really, nobody should be too hard on alignment. If anything, the only repercussion needed is if the "offending" player is pretty much ostricized by the players for extremely off the ball stuff, but no DM intervention. I did that in one of my D&D sessions, ended up not having a good time... And that is the worst waste of chips and dip...
Thank goodness for NWN so you never need to worry about rule guruing!
So spread the love and let alignment be, if your problem if you picked chaotic and you wanna be a monk! Lalalaaaaahhhh....

A CE might be polite, maybe even worshipful, if the one he was talking with possessed an extraordinary amount of power -- say, enough to zap him instantly. I think preedy made the big point here though: If you going to do things to get run out of town, expect to be run out of town. If you play the alignment, play for the consequences too. It looks like the general consensus is that the character sheet must/should agree with the chosen behavior. Which is really an entirely human concept. Rise of the machines!

Lol, that's exactly why I am contemplating CE... I can be nice to those who are rediculously powerful, but deep inside I'm a freakishly destructive and narcisistic manifestation of "I want the whole world in my hand and just you wait, I will kill you. but for now you get the pleasure of my fancy and groveling..."
Ahh, it feels good!!!
Actually, I wish the blackguard class was better than it is... I mean, the Champ gets fighter feat syndrome... And the epic vrock sucks... Bawls... Oh well, that means RDD for me!

Blackguards are best on servers where knockdown is discipline based, or in teams, but I think they are one of the best classes for building a lot of hitpoints. I'm on my lunch break at work and don't have my manual, but I think they get epic toughness and can get that epic feat every 3 levels. (And if you want to go wild, AGAIN for your 3 level player feat but your stats could hurt)
I've heard of people making blackguards with a crap load of hitpoints. If you can get a LOT levels in it (25+) you can even pickup improved sneak attack and not have any rogue on ya. Their sneak attack is pretty weak for the first 10 levels, but goes up faster once they go epic.
5 bard/10 RDD/25 BG might be a pretty wild build. In that build one is faced with the decision of focusing on hitpoints and just let the RDD be part of a little strength kick, or going all out muscular.
I'm more of the persuasion of something with Barbarian in it. 10 barb/30 BG. Someone might want to do the fighter thing too (9 ftr/1 rogue/.30 BG) if they want more feats or what not. It also depends on how much intelligence your char took depending on what skills you feel you absolutely must have and can spare for hide. Most of your standard 13 int combat types could pull it without a sweat.
I have heard of half-orc blackguards going way off the deep end.....
You could also take +CHA and play like a proper paladin, only except evil, but the black guard's sneak attack isn't good enough to outweight a paladin's divine favor. Nuff said!
