Ok we have lots of DMs on now. Lets get things started. I have been wondering around aimlessly for days. Will a DM start a long term type thing going please. DMs in this game are the same as in the pin and paper game. PCs can only do so much we can chose our dirrection and what we are going to do next but as far as makeing new adventures happen without a DM invovled you are just going to be laughed at. It always seems as though something is going to happen but it never does. Well just wandering if any DMs wanted to play with us and get some stuff going.
Getty gets up an whipes his eyes. Looking around he sees yet anouther day as gone by and the island stays silent oh wells. Getty closes his eyes and back to sleep he goes.

Don't know where you've been, but today (Friday afternoon/evening) I witnessed things from three of our four DMs going on. They *are* playing with us. I think the DMs have been actively involved in our community and make an effort to open up their events (informal and scheduled) to any interested players. Two of the events/storylines I'm thinking of have been brewing for quite some time.
On the other hand... there is *still* no valid reason why players can't build some stories of their own.

d**n I guess I missed it. But is that not a problem in itself how am I missing the story lines? I am always on. I dont really mean the little attacks that go on every now and then I love those and dont want that to change, I am looking of more of a long term type of thing. There are some of us players that are on for extended periods of time. I dont really believe that I am the only one that wants this. I have had several conversations about this with the people on the server. There are several of us longer term players that are looking for the same thing I am asking for here. I am not just going to drop this on DM eather though. If yall need help allot of us on TS will be willing to share some ideas. And I am always willing to help with coming up with some ideas. PS Hanah even though I love yah and everything you know as well as I that we have two very different play styles. You love the roleplay, the comunication, the little things that make the world great. I on the other hand, I guess am more like Toon. I love the action, the fights, and the adventure (guess it is a guy thing). Not to say that I dont like to RP as you know I love to mess with a Knight or two in my spare time.  Well thanks to all of yah and Hanah dont stop doing what you do we all love yah for it, even if the whole evil community wants you dead. (did I say that out loud) |

Well, I can tell you this - dont be afraid to ask around a bit. When I am in a RP mood, ususlly the first thing Ill do on logon is send some tells around to my favorite players to try to find out if there is anything happening. Even if you are on al the time, there is no reason not ot do this occasionally. Those players will also likely start notifying you if something is going down somewhere. It is a little manufactured, but at the same time, you are here to have fun - sometimes you just need to ask where the fun is  |

kline just catch me on Teamspeak and ask me what is up, I can usually tell you what all is going on even if I don't have details due to clever plot dodging.
There are also a couple of PC's out there that specialize in knowing things and will tell anything for a price (give you a hint: I AM NOT A THIEF).

I gotta go with the player led plot thing here. I mean I'd bet the DMs, if they are on, would help with any player led event/plot. If you want more story going on, kick it up with Getty and start one, don't just go back to sleep.  |

Yeah, no problems at all with that, as long as it doesnt involve dropping 50 hellballs in W Styne, I'm always willing to listen. ;D
