Hey everyone! I recently decided to get back into NWN and after searching around for a server, I finally found one I'm pretty sure I'll make my home. I was looking for a place that was balanced, had subraces (it isn't a world without drow!), and used CEP, and here it is! So I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm not really an experienced "roleplayer" (I try to play along, I just haven't spent years playing D&D), but I think I'll manage. I've already made a few characters you should be seeing around. Most of them are gnomes and halflings. Guess I got a thing with midgets.

Welcome to the Isle of Fredian. If you have any questions make sure to post them. The staff is very good about answering questions and looking at problems. Make sure to read the stuff in the important info (looks like you already did since you alrady found the subraces) and the rules. As far as role play ability, knowledge of DnD is one of the less needed skills. It's nice to be able to throw in historical information, and tie that stuff together so others can recogonize it, but it's not necessary to a good story. The key is something you already noted, "I try to play along."  |

Welcome! Phoenix is right - playing along is your best bet. As far as no RP experience, dont sweat it - frankly some of the best RPers Ive ever met have been people who are totally new to RPGs (pnp or pw environments). In many ways, not nowing the rules allows you a wider window of what you might consider doable. Obvioulsy NWN is differnt from pnp, but there is no reason you shouldnt do just fine...
