I can figure out any genre, but some of the exp. 6K BPM music is too hard to decipher...
I wonder if even I can decipher between the billions of subsections of the trance genre alone... Muzie is to blame...

i am sure i could stump mitza on bands... I know a lot of obscure bands... Even if we cut out all my asian indie stuff... heh heh
I actually like computer generated music... Polysics do a cover of Styx's Mr. Roboto that is completely synthetic (vocals, instrumentation, all of it)... Also like Merzbow on a conceptual level (it's hard to listen to unless in the mood)...
And my slight aversion to "techno" is not in the sound, but in the repetition... Admitedly i don't have massive exposure to it, but what i've heard i like for about 2 minutes then get a little bored of it...

True... It's designed for dancefloors for newer people so they can get the beat down... At least in my case...
I doubt that anybody knows Onoken but me, and besides, he's the first guy to successfully pull of a jazz/trance shot and sound really dang good...
