Yes I can. ^.^

First, get a windows CD, any of them will do just fine. Insert the disc and boot to it. Now, format that linux partition and install windows. Now you will be able to run windows applications, linux doesn't like them much without WINEing.

thanks Phoenix. I think I got it now... so if I take this CD I got in the mail that says "AOL" on it and stick it into my little CD slot, like I do in my car, you know... the little slot that has the little latch on the side? will that will fix it?
