Hello all! Just saying hi! My friend and I will be switching to the Fredian community this weekend (be looking for "Nascent" and "Og"). We are really looking forward to playing here. Ride, nice to see another die-hard Slackware Linux fan!  (and for all who are unclear: windows=winblows=windoze=doze) Just curious, does anyone else play NWN from Linux (and what distro if you do)? Windows may blow, but silly linux fans seem to want to spend thier lives in configuration Its your time to spend though - Ill spend mine playin NWN on IoF! Welcome, good to have you here! Take a look at the rules in Important Info and come on in! If you want a tour, most players will be happy to take you around a little - even evil types frequently will do a little OOC tour, just dont think the character will be your friend If you need a hand, feel free to look me up - Vugor or Silentus |

There is nothing wrong with windows, it's the user base. Oh, and welcome to the server, there is good reason why other servers use the ATS system. Not to knock them, but Makz./IoF/et al, put out some quality sh-- things. |

Bah... Weakness!
The best OS ever was the Commodore Amiga's extremely efficient machine of destruction. HAH! Man, I remember the days when we saw some of the first vector graphic demos.... Whoo-doggie! That looked good! Sadly, when I look at windows, when put propotionally, we have backslidden in terms of smoothness and CPU consumption in our task bars...
Actually, back in the day, it was the best, and nobody can argue with the underground powerhouse that it was. And I was one of the few kids on my block who understood the concept of owning a gold-box copy of the orignal Pool of Radiance... Man, I love that game! And that is why I have the mod and adore it... Not to mention all sorts of cool games like Shadow of the Beast, Agony and some other Psygnosis titles. Seeing prospects of 4 windows of Doom running simultaneously on the front without slow down on a 100 mgz machine were the days...
The Amiga has died though, and due to crappy management... It will never come back... *Sob* My dad worked there and I leeched so many games... I loved those days when my friends would flock to my computer solely to play my games... *Cries*
