--- GETTING OTHERS ATTENTION ---

If you jump into chat and see someone there, but they do not respond to you, it is likely that thier chat window is somewhere buried under other windows. You can click on thier name in the right pane and select 'Dialogue'. Doing so will bring up a popup dilog window betwen you and that user - once you type something in that window, the other user will get a popup window with your message.

While this was designed to have a private chat withihn the chatroom, it works great as a way to get the attention of someone just hanging around in chat.

Tired of losing your username each session? Click LOGOUT inthe upper right corner of the chat screen. If you logout correctly, your username gets freed up properly.

If you start a line with '/ me' it will show the sentance in green i.e.:

If I type: / me writes in chalk on a slate tablet
It displays: Silentus writes in chalk on a slate tablet#nosmileys#nosmileys

I've moved the online chat from being embedded in the chat forum to being a button that spawns a popup window - it can be found at the bottom of most forum pages.
