I know people say that "haste being on items isn't true D & D!!" but I gotta ask: is there any reliable way for someone that can't wear robes of dark moon to get haste from an item in this server? I mean, do they sell boots of speed anywhere? There are several interesting character concepts I want to try, but unless we get horses or three books of kehar or I can easily locate a hasted item, there's no bloody way I'm walking that long. This is why I play pure monk usually (okay, so, my current move rate is 210%, and that's going to be 315% eventually... the server doesn't lag much, but I can still make it across the screen in one refresh).
It's not like I'm THAT impatient. I mean, it takes a couple RL days of play to be old enough to wear a hasted item anyway. I just tire of walking for two hours to see ONE new area, then walking back for two hours to buy supplies in Styne, then walking for two more hours... you get the idea.

Well, let me just say Yes.
Don't want to spoil to hunt.
*Cough* Tailoring is always good.

boots of speed exist on Fredian, and no I am not saying where as do crafted items with haste on, from memory although, been a while since I looked at all my hundreds of items of work.

Soooo, guess what the first place I happened to be exploring was when I logged on?
Dirty gnomes, I ought have guessed. Aw well, now I know where to go when I want to tool out my monk.
Access to items: yet another reason Fredian is better than HCR places...
That cleric/dwarven defender is looking good about now. Or, or... so many ideas...

Lots of haste items in NWN. There Robes, Cloaks, Helms (craftable and prefab alike) as well as temp based haste effects from potions and spells.

I think there is a belt too come to think of it. The only craftable item type that I know doesnt have a haste version is rings. I suspect amulets dont either, but dont know it. Everything else that you wear has a haste version out there.

Don't forget weapons. Bows especially are prone to having haste.
