Just an observation... I've seen a particular lack of Knights on as of late (there hasnt been a reported formal arrest in over a month). I know there are a few reasons for this : 1. Many knights are DMs, and DM coverage comes first. 2. Knight is a position which after a while looses its luster and players tend to want to move on to a less structured existance (imagine that - wanting to play during thier play time instead of having another job 3. Its summer and more people are a little more busy with RL pursuits. 4. With the mention of the House system, some DM focus has moved away from knightly concerns. All that said, can we expect a fresh round of knights sometime or are they kind of on hold right now? I hate to see Addicteds work on the lasso and jail system be wasted

I know of only possibly 2 players who would be suitable for knights, if my DM's wish to inform me of others at all, we can take care of it.

I wouldn't mind playing a knight with Theron, I built him just for that (LG, holy warrior type, and he's ok tough). However, you know I mostly play my evil characters, and I'll be out of the loop for the next 2 weeks (going on a business trip to Denver, and my lappy won't run NWN ). But I guess a part time knight is better than none, which is what we have now. Or the DMs fill the role taking away from, well, dm stuff...

Well, I was kinda waiting for King Wend to show up some time so I can request Anomaly. Anyway, I try to give Mac some time here and there, but of course one knight won't cut it. Aviar is having issues and everyone else seems to have disappeared (except for James, but toon has other priorities ).

Aviar should be back by Monday. Everything should be squared away by then with me, I hope . So all miscreants, have fun for a few more days .

Fear not Anom, I made sure to add that in when I added the position requirements in Importanint Info - which was a direct responce to your post of 'how to become a knight'

Well, I suppose Stalwart would be suited to becoming a knight (LG Dwarven Defender), but he's a bit low of level to enforce anything unless you've got a fancy tazer system set up. "Lad, ye're under arrest" "You can't stop me, I'm a level 36 Figh--" *BZAT* " " " "

Actually, there is. It's a lasso that the knights can use to port people to jail. There is a variable DC (I think different spells on the target lower the DC a bit) of the lasso, but it's quite high. However, you really need to be 40th to deal with other things.

Gerog would be a suitable knight, but hmmm, should check that checklist that Anomaly mentioned

Actually, it's only 'medium' important.

I'll have damage reduction 21 and plenty of burly items with elemental resist when I'm 40th, I won't NEED a tazer. ;D
