ya know that little rule about not partying with someone 10 lvls lower or higher? well some times i rp in tells with them as if they where in the room with me via tells. but we both agree to that, and just for fun we use the color tags for ooc chat 
but yes if i get a random tell its all ways ooc unless they state its IC, an easy way to do IC tells ad get away with it is to write a note *fictioal one, dont use the note maker for this** and attach it to a summoned bird or soething. but its all RP so anything goes archers could shoot an arrow, mages could attach wings to it and let it fly around, heh all depends on your style of play

, for example your character might have an animal taming skill of -2 so when you send that loveable fruit bat off it can't resist trading your important note titled: "The domination of Fredian Part IV" for some fresh elderberries ;D
