If Damien could RP?

Sometimes, I like to possess him around players and say "You need to be properly schooled!" Or something like that. One of my favorite voicechat taunts

I have seen toon possess Damien and RP him in a "hologram" form in Styne a few times before.

If Damien rped, i think he'd get on really well with the warped, they all seem to be on the same level of insanity ;D , i can imagine it now ... group therapy sessions, counseling, the whole lot ... as far as what he'd say though, well that would be confidential, psychotherapist’s orders

As with the custom of Fredian, each creature takes on its own story -- which is subject to change at any time -- when a given DM has it. I know the Warped have been through quite a few. Makz held the warped to be ordinary people who got "warped" through Fredian's complex (and unstable) portaling environment (also related to the field that keeps us all here). When they fell out, they had super powers, but were also maddened a bit by it. Conceivably this may swing the other way. Evil people may fall in and come out very good (and tough). Consider some of the Styne Guards?

Then toon picked them up and no no, its now people possessed by mind devourers. I did a story on a small enclave of drow who were mad at frost and his crafting buddies for getting too low in the ground (through their mining) for the drow to be comfortable. Later on, this was picked up and turned from an enclave of drow to an entire nation and the continent of Alvearia was created.

It is also very permeated in Fredian DM culture that we don't inform one another about what we are doing with our stories, and as a result, two stories with conflicting/impossible details can happen simultaneously in the same week.

So if Damien could RP, the man would have probably 10 different personalities and a different background and history to match each one.

I had created Damien with a story too, but like most of the stuff with stories, it has been buried by other people's stories, and so on and so forth. And if I want, I suppose I'll just bury theirs with another one of my own, or perhaps the original.

My very first PC on Fredian had a story about an evil father trying to kill her. Although Damien was originally an exploration into advanced NWN AI -- which I got some more updates for later btw... -- I had decided to tack him on to that first PC's story. Her name was Nanna Swift
There are also some bizarre associations between Nathaniel and Nanna, which is how he came to be involved with associating with Damien, and blah blah blah

Maybe I'll save it for the stories section sometime. But if he could RP on his own? Well, he might ask you where Nanna is hiding, or if you will go fetch him a certain something that will collapse Fredian from the planar crossing.....
