I'm not saying that I will make one (the decision is up to Makz) but I see no reason not to entertain the idea.
FYI, historically attempts at IC relations in the forums have fallen fairly flat. There has been a little in the crafting & guild boards, but not too much. The story boards are nice, but that is not an interactive exchange so much as a personal memoirs location.

I used to play very regularly on the Neverwinter Nights: Resurrection server, and the IC posts were often quite fun--it gives players a chance to do things in a story that they can't with the game engine. Players can get together via PMs and colaborate, or just post back-and-forth on the fly.
Responsibility should be stressed in such a medium, though. Since there isn't a game engine to resolve contests such as combat, players really should PM or type at each other in real-time to work out details and consent.
With all the great RPers here on IoF, I think this would be a great way to excercise those writing muscles.

Guys, overcomplication here. Thread started here in general. It really is not so complex. If Silentus wants to make it its own section and categorize it, wonderful, but it really isn't necessary. If it gets used often enough, it won't drop off the current page.

I think it would be nice to see a forum section for it. The current post will get cluttered and the older RP stuff is still going to stay at the top. Players will be required to read everything instead of just skimming the topic section to see if it intrests them. Either way, I will use it.

Well, the IC board is here now, so this thread/poll is being locked. Enjoy!
